We follow a "privacy-first" approach. BrieflyNL does not require user accounts, registration, or logins. We do not collect, store, or share personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. Push Notifications & Device Tokens

To deliver real-time news alerts, our app uses a unique, pseudonymous device token. This token is generated by your device's operating system and is used solely for the purpose of sending notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). These tokens do not allow us to identify you personally and you can opt-out of notifications at any time through your device settings.

3. Technical & Usage Data

We may process anonymous technical information to maintain app stability and improve performance. This includes:

• Device type and operating system version.
• App version and performance metrics.
• Anonymous crash logs provided by Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.

4. Infrastructure & Third-Party Partners

We use industry-standard infrastructure to serve our content safely:

• Supabase: For secure database management and content delivery.
• Google Firebase: For analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications.

5. Your Rights & Data Control

Since we do not link any data to personal identities, we do not maintain searchable profiles of our users. You have full control over your data: simply uninstalling the app will immediately stop all data processing and delete the associated device token from our active notification list.
